Welcome to the Beautiful

Here we are. I made it to the other side. In a short time, I'll publish my first novel. I'd say this book was a labor of love, but that statement means undertaking something without consideration of a benefit or reward. However, I undertook this task without considering the risks to myself as a human being. I thought my life would look the same but with the enhancement of becoming an author. I'm so glad I was wrong. This is a dream come true, but they're right. Happiness is not a destination, it's a journey.

I am taking the biggest leap of faith to show my son that dreams are worth pursuing. Whether I fall or not doesn't matter because through this process I learned how to be happy. I AM happy. I AM grateful. I AM joyful.
