“I am new to this genre, and this story captured my interest right from the start with its clever writing, and fast paced introductory scene. I could see the atmosphere set by the author and a spell was cast on me to keep reading further and further to unravel the complex plot. It is hard to set this book down. At first the characters seemed like strangers to me but as I read on, and was absorbed in their world, I became very interested in their story. The world created by the author is well thought out and believable. I highly recommend this book and look forward to following the author Jane Biteme.”

“I’m a huge fan both of true-crime and paranormal thrillers. In this story I get to see elements of those genres come together, as a paranormal thriller is told through the eyes of a real lawyer. I love every moment of theorizing and the payoff if I guess a twist right. I think the idea of a paranormal law system is delightful and I can’t wait to read the next installment!”
